Tower Life Building
Built in 1929 as the Smith-Young Tower, this was the tallest office building in San Antonio until completion of the Marriott Rivercenter in 1988. Designed with Neo-Gothic ornaments and glazed terra-cotta surfaces by the architects Ayres & Ayres, this 35-story tower is a landmark of the city skyline.
Nix Professional Building
First established as a hospital in 1930 during the Great Depression, the 23 story building has become a San Antonio landmark. It is build in an Art Deco architectural style.
Tower of the Americas
This 750 foot observation tower offers spectacular views of the city. located in HemisFair Park, it was built as the theme structure for the 1968 World's Fair.
Home of the Spurs basketball team until 2002, the alamo dome is a multi-purpose facility primarily used as a sports stadium and convention center.
